I first began my journey as an Estate Agent when I was 19 years old, developing my sales and lettings experience working in Lichfield & Sutton Coldfield for five years.
After five productive years, I decided to challenge myself and enhance my skillset venturing to London to increase my experience in a faster-paced and more lucrative market.
I worked for Chestertons, who are an international brand in Hampstead, North London, and I enjoyed great success in the area and loved the village feel and community spirit, however, never one to shy away from a challenge, I aimed to move closer to London city centre.
When the opportunity presented itself to run a small independent Estate Agency in Tower Bridge, I relished the chance to further prove myself in one of the most competitive and demanding markets in the world.
It was during this time I diligently worked towards attaining recognised accreditation in Estate Agency, achieving the qualification in MARLA. My customers can feel reassured that they are receiving expert advice when dealing with their most valuable assets, property.
After several years of commitment to my profession, I decided I had extracted as much as I needed from working in London. I wanted a calmer pace, so I decided to move back to my roots in Staffordshire.
I was employed with Butters John Bee two years ago, working from their Stafford and Stone branches, and I developed a fantastic appreciation for Stone and made great connections with the local landlord community.
I met my co-director, Maggie Fitzpatrick, during this time and we decided to pursue our dream of running our own independent, prestigious High Street brand.
We worked hard to earn respect and the trust of our customers forging an excellent reputation, and in doing so, it allowed us to realise our dream to begin building Austin & Roe Independent Estate Agents. It's a privilege that I have also been able to include my family in the business providing a pleasant, welcoming, family run experience.
I am proud that after nearly 15 years of experience in the Estate Agency industry I can provide exceptional service for our customers.
Property is at the heart of what we do, and our office is located at the heart of the community, so feel free to visit us, and it would be our pleasure to assist you with any property requirements you have.
Hi, I am Maggie, the Grannie of the family and the Property Manager. I have been dealing with properties for over 30 years, from co-owning a painting and decorating business in the '80s, running a contract cleaning business in the '90s and then for the last 20 years working and managing a Letting Agency.
My expertise is ensuring the general maintenance of managed properties is performed to a high standard, working closely with a trusted network of local contractors whom I can rely on in any given situation.
Several years ago I had the privilege of meeting Samantha while working together at a previous employer. We both share the same enthusiasm and passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers, and we work so well together I now consider Samantha family.
So please feel free to visit our offices for a coffee, and a chat about any of your property requirements and like a wise old bird, I'll be happy to impart my wisdom.
Hi, I'm Jill.
As you might have seen by my surname, I am Samantha's Mum.
When I was in my 20's my husband and I renovated properties until we had the children and we decided to slow things down.
This interest in property stayed with me, and I nurtured Samantha as a teenager into beginning a career as an Estate Agent as I knew she had the charisma and personality to succeed.
Eleven years ago I then had the opportunity to follow in Samantha's footsteps and became an Estate Agent myself, and it was the best career move I ever made.
I consider myself to be a sociable, people person; so the combination of my love for property leads to a satisfying, rewarding experience, especially as I get to meet new people and visit unique homes. I genuinely feel a real buzz when valuing property and assisting customers in the sales process; it becomes quite addictive!
I am elated that I have the chance to work with my talented daughter and to be a part of this enthusiastic, positive and distinguished team who will enhance my experience delivering a fantastic service doing what I love.
I hope to visit your beautiful homes soon.
I'm Debbie the Rental Property Manager here at Austin & Roe.

I am Anna and I work in both sales and lettings here at Austin and Roe.
I started my journey here at age 16 through work experience and my love for the property market grew from there. I now have the pleasure of working full time, and am very passionate about providing an exceptional level of customer service and communication. I can help you find your perfect property.
I love what I do and I look forward to a career here at Austin and Roe, as we pride ourselves in going above and beyond for all clients.
My interest in property first started from a young age - my parents were both in the industry and I later became to realise it was something I had a passion for.
I started my journey as a sales negotiator working in the Stafford market. I gained experience and knowledge and knew it was something I wanted to peruse. After a few years I moved to Stone as senior negotiator. This then led to my interest in valuing property. Being a people person and my love for property helped me in making it a reality.
I feel very proud to work for Austin and Roe as their values and dedication to delivering excellent customer service is at the heart of the business.
Hi I am Mary,
I am a senior sales negotiator that has worked as an Estate Agent for over 20 years, 11 of which have been on Stone's High Street.
I pride myself on offering exceptional customer service, let it be a first-time buyer to high volume sales projects. Nothing motivates me more than negotiating a sale and the job satisfaction of guiding a property sale to completion. I have always received positive feedback from customers for the fact I go the extra mile when supporting my clients and Austin & Roe share this ethos with me.
I have worked with everyone at Austin & Roe through previous employment and forged a great working relationship with everyone, so I am grateful to be part of this dream team.
I'm Michelle, a senior sales negotiator within the Austin & Roe family.
I have been passionate about property for over 20 years, attaining roles as an Estate Agent sales negotiator and mortgage administrator.
I adore Stone and moving here 15 years ago was one of the best decisions I ever made, so having the opportunity to continue doing the job I love while assisting the community I love is invigorating.
Austin & Roe provides me with the best opportunity to continue doing what I enjoy, and the fact we are independent means we value our customers and their best interests are at the heart of what we do.
Hi, my name is Andrew Roe.
I was born in Stone, and I have a proud lineage of construction and agricultural experience. I studied at Rodbaston College, qualifying with a Diploma in Horticulture. I decided to start my own business from the ground up, managing landscaping contractors and expanding into groundwork and surfacing.
Now I have been successful in business for 20 years I have begun investing in properties and developing properties while continuing to be the Managing Director of Roe Contractors Ltd.
My involvement in property development coincided with forging a productive working relationship with Samantha Austin and Maggie Fitzpatrick, who offered an exceptional level of customer service. I recognised the excellent potential in them both, and when the opportunity presented itself I was honoured to invest in the formation of a local, independent estate agent, hence the beginning of the association of Austin & Roe.
