I first began my journey as an Estate Agent when I was 19 years old, developing my sales and lettings experience working in Lichfield & Sutton Coldfield for five years.
After five productive years, I decided to challenge myself and enhance my skillset venturing to London to increase my experience in a faster-paced and more lucrative market.
I worked for Chestertons, who are an international brand in Hampstead, North London, and I enjoyed great success in the area and loved the village feel and community spirit, however, never one to shy away from a challenge, I aimed to move closer to London city centre.
When the opportunity presented itself to run a small independent Estate Agency in Tower Bridge, I relished the chance to further prove myself in one of the most competitive and demanding markets in the world.
It was during this time I diligently worked towards attaining recognised accreditation in Estate Agency, achieving the qualification in MARLA. My customers can feel reassured that they are receiving expert advice when dealing with their most valuable assets, property.
After several years of commitment to my profession, I decided I had extracted as much as I needed from working in London. I wanted a calmer pace, so I decided to move back to my roots in Staffordshire.
I was employed with Butters John Bee two years ago, working from their Stafford and Stone branches, and I developed a fantastic appreciation for Stone and made great connections with the local landlord community.
I met my co-director, Maggie Fitzpatrick, during this time and we decided to pursue our dream of running our own independent, prestigious High Street brand.
We worked hard to earn respect and the trust of our customers forging an excellent reputation, and in doing so, it allowed us to realise our dream to begin building Austin & Roe Independent Estate Agents. It's a privilege that I have also been able to include my family in the business providing a pleasant, welcoming, family run experience.
I am proud that after nearly 15 years of experience in the Estate Agency industry I can provide exceptional service for our customers.
Property is at the heart of what we do, and our office is located at the heart of the community, so feel free to visit us, and it would be our pleasure to assist you with any property requirements you have.
Hi, I am Maggie, the Grannie of the family and the Property Manager. I have been dealing with properties for over 30 years, from co-owning a painting and decorating business in the '80s, running a contract cleaning business in the '90s and then for the last 20 years working and managing a Letting Agency.
My expertise is ensuring the general maintenance of managed properties is performed to a high standard, working closely with a trusted network of local contractors whom I can rely on in any given situation.
Several years ago I had the privilege of meeting Samantha while working together at a previous employer. We both share the same enthusiasm and passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers, and we work so well together I now consider Samantha family.
So please feel free to visit our offices for a coffee, and a chat about any of your property requirements and like a wise old bird, I'll be happy to impart my wisdom.
Hi, my name is Andrew Roe.
I was born in Stone, and I have a proud lineage of construction and agricultural experience. I studied at Rodbaston College, qualifying with a Diploma in Horticulture. I decided to start my own business from the ground up, managing landscaping contractors and expanding into groundwork and surfacing.
Now I have been successful in business for 20 years I have begun investing in properties and developing properties while continuing to be the Managing Director of Roe Contractors Ltd.
My involvement in property development coincided with forging a productive working relationship with Samantha Austin and Maggie Fitzpatrick, who offered an exceptional level of customer service. I recognised the excellent potential in them both, and when the opportunity presented itself I was honoured to invest in the formation of a local, independent estate agent, hence the beginning of the association of Austin & Roe.
